Evolving Minds Counselling and Psychology is a private psychology practice in Menai, supporting people across the Sutherland Shire and surrounding suburbs. Established in 2017, our experienced team of registered psychologists and counsellors provides evidence-based, person-centred care for children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Sessions are available in person at our Menai clinic or online for clients throughout Australia.
Our services include child, adolescent, adult, older adult, couple and family counselling. Each session draws on evidence-based therapies to help people manage emotions, strengthen relationships and create lasting positive change.
We provide therapy for a wide range of presentations, including trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and behavioural difficulties in children and adolescents. You can read more about these areas in our Conditions We Treat section.
As a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed practice, we recognise that every person’s experience is different. Our therapists are experienced in working with Autism, ADHD, learning differences and disability, tailoring therapy to each person’s needs.
We also offer adult ADHD and Autism assessments to help to help people better understand themselves so they can find the right supports.
Appointments are available in person at our Menai clinic or online via secure telehealth. If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates.
Evolving Minds also provides therapy to self-managed and plan-managed participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Our SIRA-accredited clinicians offer counselling under WorkCover and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance schemes.
